KNOW ALL MEN by thefe Prefents, That We Lewis Terrill of Connecticut Colony and John Terrill + Ephraim Terrill both of Eliz : Town are held and firmly bound unto His Excellency Johathan Belcher Esqr Captain General and Governor in Chief of New Jersey in the Sum of Two hundred Pounds, Proclamation Money, to be paid to the faid Jonathan Belcher Esqr his Succeffors or Affigns : To which Payment well and truly to be made, We bind us, our Heirs, Executors and Adminiftrators, jointly and feverally, firmly by thefe Prefents. Sealed with our Seals and Dated the twelfth Day of Decemberforty nine. Anno Domini One Thoufand Seven Hundred and THE CONDITION of the above Obligation is fuch, That if the Above-bounden Lewis Terrill Adminiftrator of all and fingular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of Josiah Terrill late of Elisabeth Town yeoman deceafed, do make or caufe to be made, a true and perfect Inventory of all and fingular the Goods, Chattels and Credits of the faid Deceafed, which have or fhall come to the Hands, Poffeffion or Knowledge of the faid Lewis Terrill or into the Hands of any Perfon or Perfons for his Ufe, and the fame fo made, exhibit or caufe to be exhibited into the Regiftry of the Prerogative Court, in the Secretary’s-Office at Perth Amboy on or before the twelfth Day of March next enfuing; and the fame Goods, Chattels and Credits of the faid Deceafed, at the Time of hisLewis Terrill or unto the Hands or Poffeffion of any other Perfon or Perfons, for hishis Adminiftration, on or before the Twelfth Day of December now next enfuing the Date hereof; and all the Reft and Refidue of the faid Goods, Chattels and Credits, which fhall be found remaining upon the Account of the faid Adminiftrat__ the fame being firft examined and allowed of, by the Judge, for the time being, of the faid Preogative Court, fhall deliver and pay unto fuch Perfon or Perfons refpectively, as the faid Judge for the time being, of the faid Court, by his Decree or Sentence, perfuant to the true Intent and Meaning of an Act of Parliament, made in the 22d and 23d Years of the Reign of King Charles II. entituled An Act for fettling Inteftates Eftates, fhall limit and appoint. And if it fhall hereafter appear, that any laft Will and Teftament was made by the faid Deceafed, and the Executor or Executors therein named, do exhibit the fame into the faid Prerogative Court, making Requeft to have it allowed and approved accordingly: If the faid Lewis Terrill being thereunto required do render and deliver up the faid Letters of Adminftration, Approbation of fuch Teftament being firft had and made in the faid Court, then the above Obligation to be void, or elfe it fhall ftand in full Force and Virtue. Death, or which at any Time after, fhall come to the Hands or Poffeffion of the faid Ufe, do well and truly adminifter according to Law; and farther do make or caufe to be made, a juft and true Account of

Be it Remember’d that on the day within before me Thomas Bartow duly authorized to qualify Admrs in New Jersey Personally came Lewis Terrill ————— the Administrator within named and being duly Sworn on the holy Evengelists doth Depose that Josiah Terrill — the Deceased within named Dyed without a Will as far as he knows and as he believes and that he will well and truly Administer all and Singular the Goods Chattels ^ + Credits of the said Deceased which have or shall come to his hands or pofsefsion or to the hands or pofsefsion of any other Person or Persons for his ufe and that he will make and Exhibit a true and perfect Inventory of Goods Chattels + Credits and render a just and true Account of his Administration.
