Her father, John Swezey sold his home in Salem to his mother-in-law, Dorothy King in 1652 (Hoff, Henry; Genealogies of Long Island Families, vol. 1, p. 494). He was one of the original purchasers at Brookhaven/Setauket in 1655, but didn't settle there. (History of Suffolk County, NY, pub Munsell & Co., 1882) and purchased home in Southold Feb 1, 1658 (Whitaker's Southold). Sorry the references are not more complete. They come from notes I made 30 years ago.
I also noticed Abigail's date and place of birth don't jive.
And . . . do you mind if I delete some of the sources considered unreliable and also the GEDcom "junk" from a few of the Swazey profiles that I would like to work on (that you are PM for) ? Thanks.
