On 9 May 1921, David Sunstein age 2 departed Hamilton, Bermuda aboard the S.S Fort Hamilton. ^[4]

On 11 May 1921, he arrived in Ellis Island, New York City, New York with his parents and siblings ^[4]

In the 1940 US census, David E Sunstein (21) was living in Pittsburgh, with parents Elias (56) and Gertrude (52), and siblings Richard (28) and Frances (17).^[3]
