I did clean up one of your GEDCOM-imported profiles, using the Automatic GEDCOM Cleanup extension. What a timesaver! Let me know if you would like help on how to get that extension working for you.

Thanks, Kay - I'm still fumbling around, but all is well. I didn't know there was an automatic GEDCOM Cleanup extension, but it might be useful on future small-batch uploads. I would be very interested - just kick me in the right direction.

Don,

AGC is a feature that is part of the WikiTree Browser Extension (WBE). The WBE help is here and explains how to install and configure. The AGC feature is found under Editing. Various features have been discussed in live chats, which are available as videos. Let me know if you would like help finding them.

Another very powerful browser extension is the WikiTree Sourcer.

You don't need to wait until you upload more GEDCOM to use AGC. Depending on other edits that have been done to the profile, you may also be able to use it on profiles (as I did on some of the Edwards GEDCOMs). As with any automated process you do, of course, need to check to see that the changes are correct.
