Adopted by John Bosch (Bosch-461) and Mildred Elizabeth Koelewyn (Koelewyn-1) in 1953. Birth name, Mary Louise Stockwell, was legally changed to Janet Lynn Bosch as listed on the Adoption Decree granted in Cuyahoga County, Ohio, on February 13, 1953.
Original birth certificate for Mary Louise Stockwell is still on file in Preston County, West Virginia confirming birth parents' name, date of birth, etc. An amended birth certificate showing Cleveland, Ohio as birthplace was issued at the time of adoption showing John and Mildred Bosch as parents.
Although this was a closed adoption, records have been relatively easy to retrieve. I have a letter from the social worker who facilitated the severing of parental rights of birth parents and the adoption proceedings giving background and some personal memories of the circumstances surrounding the adoption.
June Rose Dugger, my bio mother, was almost 18 when I was born; she was living in Terra Alta, WV with my bio father, Samuel Everett Stockwell. He was temporarily estranged from his wife whom he married in Stark County, Ohio in 1950 when I and, shortly thereafter, my brother were conceived. Apparently they reconciled and remained together until his death in 1969.

There's a lot of heritage in the Bosch/Koelewyn families, both having originated in The Netherlands. Perhaps a separate tree would benefit a split search like this.
Anyway, just trying to figure out how approach this using the Wikitree format. :)
