Norman Stearnes is Notable.

Norman "Turkey" Stearnes was an American Negro Leagues professional baseball player. He was an outfielder and star hitter for the Detroit Stars, Chicago American Giants and the Kansas City Monarchs. Turkey was voted in to the National Baseball Hall of Fame as part of the Class of 2000.^[1]

Norman Thomas Stearnes was born on 8 May 1901 in Nashville, Davidson, Tennessee, United States, son of William Starnes and Mary Everett.^[2]
