Obituary for Spouse (2): Mrs. Stacey. Mrs. Stacey, who died at Southwark a few days ago, was a well-known and respected resident of the town. Her first husband (Mr. W. H. Goodenough) was for some time Mayor of Thebarton, and as Mayoress the deceased was popular. It is only a few months since she and Ald. Stacey were married, and her death was referred to feelingly at a meeting of the Thebarton Council on Thursday evening by the Mayor (Mr. A. A. Collins). He said they all deeply sympathized with Ald. Stacey in his bereavement. In behalf of council, he had placed a wreath on the grave. It was decided to send a letter of condolence to Ald. Stacey.
