Welcome to the Team L’Chaim’s WikiTree Thon Page.
Connectathon April 2024: April 12-15 with Mar 13 as the first day to sign up on G2G.
L'Chaim means "to life" and can be said during a toast, or heard while watching Fiddler on the Roof! Spelled in Hebrew: לי חיים How to pronounce l'chaim
- Our team focuses on Jewish ancestors, but you are welcome to join no matter your heritage or affiliation, and add any people that you choose!
- The purpose of the Connect-a-Thon is to bring the world closer together by connecting more people on our big tree. For 72 hours we add missing relatives. It's like adding missing pieces to a puzzle. The more pieces of the puzzle we add, the more they connect.

Points for 2024
If you don't find a source after searching, considering adding Research Notes saying where you looked. For example: "Looked for John in the US Census records for 1900-1940 and couldn't find him on FamilySearch or Ancestry." This way the next researcher knows where to start.
Registration
- You need to register in advance to participate. Final registration ends at midnight on the Wednesday before the Thon.

- Most of all, have fun with your team! Every little bit that you do improves the health of our global tree. This way you get to meet new friends, and chat with current friends, in the process!

January 2023 ConnectaThon was our first event as a team and a great success! All but one of our signed-up members made contributions, which is awesome! We created a total of 1,116 new profiles.
