Biography

Esther was born in Fraserburgh, Abderdeenshire in 1904. She was the daughter of George Henderson Smith, cooper and his wife Mary Bella Stephen.^[1]

On 6th June 1924, Esther married blacksmith Alexander Symon at the Manse in Fraserburgh, Aberdeenshire. ^[2]

They had eight children including twin boys however all but the four girls died in infancy.

Esther passed away in Fraserburgh in 1982. ^[3]
