Biography

Hampton Porter Smith was born in 1838 in Georgia to James Hampton Smith and Mary Ann Flowers.[1] He married Nancy A. Malissa Brown in 1859 in Levy County, Georgia.[2][3][4] After the death of Malissa, Hampton married Frances Lavinia Turner in 1890 in Levy County, Florida.[5][6] He passed away in 1900 in Levy County, Florida and is buried in the Hamp Smith Cemetery in Levy County, Florida.[7]
