Lavinia Smith was born in 1828 in Georgia to James Hampton Smith and Mary Ann Flowers. She married George Adam Hiers in 1845 in Liberty County, Georgia.[1][2][3] Lavinia passed away in 1870 in Levy County, Florida and is buried in the Ebenezer Baptist Church Cemetery in Chiefland, Florida.[4]
