Biography

Mary Smith was born in or about 1709.[1]

Samuel Tudor married Mary Smith, daughter of the Rev. Joseph Smith, on 10 December 1729. The Smiths were from of Middletown Upper Houses, now Cromwell. They had ten children; two sons and three daughters survived Samuel, who died in 1757.

Mary died June 15, 1785, at the age of 76. She was buried in Edwards Cemetery, South Windsor, Hartford County, Connecticut.[1]

Research Notes

Their elder son, Elihu (Yale 1750) became a physician in East Windsor.[2]
