Hi Bernhard,

This week we have your last stop on the guided tour. Hopefully, you're feeling like a WikiTree pro!

You've covered a lot of ground the past few weeks. Today, we want to give you just a few more tools that can take you even deeper into the WikiTree forest without getting lost: How to Dig a Little Deeper.

As many have said before me, your questions are always welcome.

Bernhard,

You've probably been hard at work adding family members and getting connected to those that are already here. You should have at least a few profiles that you manage now. So, this week we're going to look at how to work with your Watchlist: How to Manage Your Watchlist.

As always, your questions are welcome! Mary

Bernhard --

You've been here for three weeks now! We hope you're profiles are starting to come together and that you've enjoyed getting to know all of us a little better.

You're probably getting a good feel for the collaborative nature of WikiTree by now. We know that collaboration isn't always easy. So, we've put together a few pointers that can make working in this type of environment a little easier: How to be a Successful WikiTreer.

As always, your questions are welcome!

Hi Bernhard

I see that you just did the Pre-1700 Self-Certification. That's great! Also noticed you made 230 contributions to Wikitree, thank you! Here at WikiTree we like to have our members involved with others; collaboration is key! By your tags I see your interested in German Roots. Please check out this project: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:German_Roots Here is a list of our other WikiTree projects you might like to check out: https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Projects

Why don't you also stop by the One Name Studies project, to see if there's already a name study for (surname) going on? The current leaders for that are Doug Lockwood and Alison Andrus. They would be happy to get you started.

Dorothy, Volunteer Coordinator.

Hi Bernhard

I'm a member of the Mentor project, and I just wanted to check in and see how things are going. Do you have any questions I can answer?

Ronel

Bernhard, do you happen to speak any other languages? Would you check out our languages template and add it to your biography? For example you might add

{{ Languages | en | de-3 | no-1 }}

to the top of your biography if you speak English natively, advanced German and basic Norwegian, or you could use nl-4 to specify near-native Dutch or ru-2 for intermediate Russian, and so forth up to ten languages.

It really helps to know who speaks all the different languages used on WikiTree! If you only speak English, you're very welcome to use this text to make that clear:

{{ Languages | en }}

Thanks,

Karen
