Wanda lived in Strasburg, graduating from Strasburg High School in 1950. She married Thomas in the Strasburg Presbyterian Church. She raised her one daughter and was a devoted wife. She was a member of the Strasburg Presbyterian Church and then the Strasburg Community Church. She worked at various jobs including Tri-Valley Mercantile and Strasburg Thrift Store. She loved being outdoors, she embroidered and crocheted many treasured items. She was a sports fan, watching the Denver Broncos football and the Colorado Rockies baseball teams. She was proud to call Strasburg her home.
Wanda suffered from ovarian cancer. She is buried at Byers Cemetery, Byers, Colorado
