Biography
For the first 21 years of my life I lived on the family farm in Lienen, North Rhine-Westphalia, Germany. As a child, my father and grandmother always told me about our family history and our farm, which has been in the family for over 23 generations. During this time, I became more and more interested in my origins and my ancestors, so in the winter of 2006, with my father's help, I started creating a family tree. What started as a hobby became more and more of an obsession. I wanted to learn more about my ancestors and find evidence for all the family stories. Over the last 16 years our family tree has grown to over 120,000 people. I was not only able to find out a lot about my own family, but also about the history of my hometown and the long-established families there. In April 2007 I moved near Stuttgart, Baden-Württemberg, Germany where I lived for over 16 years. Since October 2023 I have been back in Lienen where I live in a newly built house owned by my father. This is right next to the family farm. So I now hope to be able to research directly in the local archives.

I will add her parents and family soon. Only you are allowed to change the name because you are her profile manager. You can do this while editing her profile. After her birthname must then be a button were you can edit the name.
Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s very important to read and understand the Pre-1700 Profiles page. These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.
Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.
