[No ship name was recorded]. They were among the early settlers in Johnsburg (Est. August 1841), McHenry County, Illinois. Maria died in Johnsburg on 23 December 1863.
John married 2. Magdalena nee Kauth[1]on 7 July 1864 at St John the Baptist Catholic Church in Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois. They moved to Minnesota sometime after the birth of their son Johann Joseph, born in Johnsburg, McHenry County, Illinois on 24 October 1870.
