Hi Tine, the process for getting Pre-1500 certification is outlined here and here. If you meet all of those qualifications, and have submitted the necessary requests, then it shouldn't be too long!  :-)
How's everything going?

Now that you have had a little time to try WikiTree, there are a few more features you may find useful.

Ideas on what to include in a profile can be found in Styles and Standards, including some tips on writing biographies.

If you need to describe an event, an heirloom or a location relevant to your research, you may like to learn about Free Space Profiles.

Lastly, sometimes you'll run into unresponsive profile managers. We have a process for resolving those unfortunate situations.

If you have any questions, feel free to ask via my profile page.

Hi Tine,

Thank you for your note!

I tried both the links in the comment below this one and they worked.

This page describes different kinds of sources: http://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Sources

The Sources Style Guide shows how to enter sources in the biography

This is my favorite: This page describes sources and how to enter them.

Two free websites for finding sources: Family Search. Find a Grave

Let me know when you add the photo's of your family/ancestor's you mentioned.

Hi Tine,

Thanks for adding profiles to WikiTree. There are reasons behind the eighth point in our Honor Code: "We cite sources. Without sources we can't objectively resolve conflicting information."

A source provides a way to find out more about the person. Showing sources reduces confusion and duplicates.

How Do You Find Sources? offers links to free sources (and a few for subscription). If you can't find a source, try asking about it at the G2G Forum.

The Sources Style Guide shows how to enter sources in the biography.

Please contact me with any questions you have about adding sources to the profiles you manage.

Hello Tine,

Welcome to WikiTree. By now you should have received an email with helpful links to get you started on adding your family to ours.

WikiTree is different because our goal is to have one profile per person and that means we share ancestors and work together as a BIG collaborative team!

What brings you to WikiTree? Do you have research you’d like to share? Are you interested in how your family fits into the big tree?

When you confirm your email address, you’ll be given an opportunity to volunteer to help document our collective family history. Use the Tags and comments to tell us about your genealogical interests.

When you volunteer, one of our Greeters will be happy to confirm your membership.

Happy Hunting,

Jess
