Franz was born in Zell am Ziller, Austria
Franz was born in April 1932 in Zell am Ziller, Tyrol, Austria. He was the son of Franz Scheffauer and his wife Elise.
Franz met Jenny when she was working for Thomas Cook as a travel rep in 1968. They never married but had a daughter Jutta.
Jenny and Jutta moved back to England in 1975 by which time Franz had married Thresi.
Franz died on 30 November 2020 aged 88.
