Biography

Aimee was born on St. Patrick's Day in 1989. She is the daughter of Mark Ryals and Cheri Hallisey. Aimee is still living. [1]

Aimee is the 9th Great Granddaughter of Cornet Robert Stetson (1615-1703) and Honour Tucker.

And the 8th Great Granddaughter of Acadian Anthoine (Comeau) Coombs (abt.1661-aft.1746) and Dorcas (Woodin) Coombs (abt.1671-aft.1722)

And the Great Granddaughter of Irish immigrants Francis Hallissey and Sheila Julia Sullivan. They both immigrated from County Cork, Ireland in the early 1900's.

Ancestry

Mom is researching our oral Native American Ancestry. My GGM Lottie said her Grma Euphemia Fish was from Mi'kmaq/Micmac tribe. They were from Massachusetts, Maine and Nova Scotia.

Cousin Marjorie heard that a woman from the Rockemeka tribe in Maine married into our family.

Peruvian Seaman on Nantucket, mid 1800's: "...The little girl named Isabel was the granddaughter of another Nantucket Indian woman, Dorcas Mingo, a spinner of wool by profession who does not appear on any list of last Indians. Dorcas Mingo married Abraham Wilbur in 1808, and their daughter was named Lavina, not Emmeline. In 1841, Lavina Wilbur married Milton Draper, who had come to Nantucket from Philadelphia,[10] and their daughter was Isabella. When the little girl was five years old, her widowed mother married a Peruvian seaman named Joseph Castro [Joseph Castro, single, 28, mariner, b. Payta, and Miss Levina W. Draper, 28, int. Apr. 13, 1845. Married in Nantucket, Mass],[11] who became Isabella’s stepfather..."[12]
