Second-Lieutenant Peter Willliam Rutherford of the 10th Battalion West Yorkshire Regiment in the Royal Air Force. He was awarded the Military Cross for reconnoitring in daylight and later leading a successful raid in France. He had qualified for it on 13-7-1915. [6]
