When Elisabeth Marie Isabelle Bidet Roussel was born on September 12, 1716, in St-Michel-de-Bellechasse, Quebec, Canada, her father, Jacques Bidet, was 35, and her mother, Françoise Allaire, was 34. She married Antoine Pépin dit LaChance on April 23, 1739, in Montmorency, Quebec, Canada. They had seven children during their marriage. She died on December 16, 1762, in La Durantaye, Quebec, Canada, at the age of 46.
