It looks like you may have some outstanding merges that need attention. You can find them by following the link at the top of this page under >My Wikitree>Watchlist, then hit the button that says Pending Merges. If you need help, just ask. Thanks for helping with Wikitree

Hi Donna,

I haven’t heard back from you about the break up of the United Kingdom Project. I hope all is well with you. I assume you don’t wish to join any of the country-level projects at present, and will go ahead and remove the United Kingdom badge. If you wish to join England, Scotland, Wales or Ireland in the future, you would be most welcome to do so via the respective G2G sign-up post.

Many thanks for all your contributions,

Susie :-)

Hi Donna,

We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.

We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.

Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please don’t assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.

Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.

Many thanks,

Susie

Hi,

This is Wendy, England Project coordinator for Integration.

I noticed you have withdrawn from the project, we are sorry to see you go!

I just wanted to say, on behalf of the England Team, thank you for all that you have contributed to the England Project and to let you know that you would be most welcome to rejoin at any time.

Please feel free to contact me if/when you choose to return.

Good luck in your research.

Wendy

Hi Donna. Thank you for your note about Bathsheba, wife of Abraham Lincoln. Unfortunately, the name Herring has been repeated often as being Bathsheba's maiden name with absolutely no real source other than mere repetition of a rumor begun 140 years after her marriage to Lincoln. If you carefully read the Biography on her WikiTree profile, you'll see why the story is unreliable.

Hello Donna

Congratulations and a warm welcome on joining the England Project! Your badge also joins you up to the United Kingdom project– see United Kingdom Project Page. We are delighted to have you as part of the team. Feel free to contact me if you have any questions and don’t forget to add England and United_Kingdom to your tags.

Hi Donna,

I have started a Cantrell One Name Study for all members of the Cantrell/Cantrill family lines. The purpose of this study is to work together to establish an accurate Cantrell Family tree by using the best possible sources available for documentation. We wish to identify all family members that have ever used a particular surname whose name may appear in all manner of research documents. Would you be interested in joining the study? If so, please visit the Cantrell Name Study Page for more information and how to join.
