The friends of Mr Henry Remington, of Bannister Street, Masterton, will regret to learn of his death, which took place this morning. The deceased gentleman, who was born in Wellington 64 years ago, came to the Wairarapa 30 years ago, and for some time engaged in farming pursuits in the Mikimiki district. About 15 years ago ho settled in Masterton, and kept the well-known boarding house in Bannister Street for some years past. The cause of death was heart trouble. A widow and grown up family of seven (six girls and one boy) are left to mourn their loss. The funeral will take place at 2 o'clock on Thursday afternoon.[1]
