Hello my name is Ruth Adkins (Reeves) and I started here with wikitree on October 30th 2017.
I am very hopeful to learn more about my mother's Thompson Family Line as we know so very little currently. My Reeves Family Line is well established but can still use some work.

Biography
Ruth is the daughter of Reeves-4549 Claude Reeves and Thompson-37371 Susie Dollie Thompson. Ruth is still living.
Ruth attended Maries R-1 Schools in Vienna, Mo Maries County.
Ruth has worked seven to eight years with two Salvation Armies as a Social Service Director. i am currently not working due to being disabled. I enjoy my family, church family and many friends. I also enjoy using my computer and internet since 1994 and still loving it. I always believe in order to live my life with quality I will defiantly be counting on my heavenly Father and praying everyday.
Baptized in Alexandria, South Dakota, Hanson County, United States on the 25 September 2001.
Confirmed through DNA Testing Cindy Adkins-my daughter-active, Beth Adkins-my daughter-non active and Carl Thompson-my first cousin-active. I have others confirmed who have not joined wiki yet to date.

I was a garment inspector, Seamstress and Serger Operator, Inspector Serge Sewing Mach Operater - Adkins Auto Sales, My husband and I started selling a car and buying another one to sell. We decided we would be car (sellsman) (sellswoman) and a while later bought property a friend wanted to sell. We borrowed money and established a business with 50 cars on our lot. We took consignments too when this presented itself. It was a lot of hard work but very fulfilling, I did the yucky jobs too. I enjoyed owning my own business and miss the income and comfort of working for myself - The Salvation Army in South Dakota, I wore many hats in our Salvation Army and had a very good time too. I was the social service food pantry interviewer and operator, various other duties, church related contributions accounting and deposits, general accounting duties, thrift store cashier and building key holder when officer was away. Helped Corp Salvationist's with disaster related events_new_new when they happened and Case-Manager/Accounting duties. - The Salvation Army in Jefferson City, MO., I was the Social Services Case Manager for the Social Services Department at the Salvation Army.
We provided food, electric or rental assistance and clothing assistance to those in the community who are in need of it. My position was Social Service Director

One year later and new homes are being built and I have received counselling so I am back to my normal self again. (My neighbor's house was totally flattened)
I have been going to places to research during the month of April not finding what i am looking for "Alexander Thompson". But I never give up and I have several Thompson's information that I have no idea if I connect to yet. I will keep searching.
