Biography

Marco Puccio is born and baptized on 8 January 1820, named after his paternal grandfather. He is the son of Luciano Puccio and Antonina Cascio. His godparents are Girolamo Crapa and Bernarda Campagna, wife of Pietro.^[1]

Marco marries Francesca d'Amico, daughter of Gioachino d'Amico and Antonia Patella, on 29 April 1849. His father has died by this time, and his mother is still living.^[2]

Francesca and Marco have at least two children, twin boys Gioachino and Antonino (1854).

Gioachino and Antonino are born and baptized on 18 June 1854. Gioachino's godparents are Maestro Antonino d'Amico and Concetta la Rosa, a married couple. Antonino's godparents are Giovanni Patella and Biagia Gutera, also a married couple.^[3]

Marco dies, reportedly at age 41 (he is 44) on 23 April 1864, survived by his wife, Francesca. His mother has died by this time.^[4]
