Goals

The overall goal of the United States Project is to develop profiles on WikiTree for those who lived in the United States of America. To meet these goals for Virginia:
  1. Connect and Source Florida unconnected and unsourced profiles.
    1. See the Connectors Project page for more information about unconnected profiles & how you can help connect them.
  2. When duplicate profiles are found, request merges, starting with the oldest generation.
  3. If profiles were loaded by GEDCOM, use WikiTree Styles and Standards to clean up residue and broken links.
  4. Cite your sources! When adding sources, aim for original sources (rather than derivative documentation) to ensure the best information possible.
  5. Write comprehensive, well-sourced biographies.
  6. Add the Florida sticker to the profiles along with any relevant categories.
Use the county, city, or cemetery categories to be as complete.
  7. Make sure profiles of all family members are correct and documented.
