Uncle Hardy, as a young man, was noted as a baseball player, fisherman and hunter, and he was a champion trap shooter. He could even say held shot, in a tournament in Texas, with the then National Champion trap shooter, Charley Spencer, and the famous Annie Oakley - and equaled their scores. He owned and operated a billiard parlor in Charleston until he was elected Police Chief, in which office he served four terms, until illness put a stop to his activity. It may be possible to confirm family relationships.
It is likely that these
autosomal DNA

Pottinger - 75 and 98 should not be merged. There is a serious error in the GEDCOM upload and then import process. I have no idea where it came from or how to fix it. The manual process is not an option.
Pottinger-75 and Pottinger-98 appear to represent the same person because: I entered my Dad, Pottinger-75, and I believe Tom Pottenger uploaded another , Pottinger-98 with the same information. These to IDs should be merged.
