Hi I’m a descendant of Frances Posey (Pochet was original spelling when he immigrated from France in the 1600s), trying to trace my line back to him. So far I had made it back to Benjamin Posey (Born in Georgia, died in Scott county, TN), Benjamin being the son of William Bruce Posey, but I have hit a dead end. My grandfather was Herman Posey, son of John Harrison Posey. Any help is appreciated. Thank you!
