Antonina Pomilla is born on 15 August 1824 in Corleone. She is the daughter of Bernardo Pomilla and Giuseppa Campisi. Her godparents are Salvatore Pomilla, her paternal uncle, and his wife, Calogera (di Giglia).[1]
She is confirmed in November 1829 in Corleone. Her sponsor is Leoluchina Bonanno.[2]
Antonina marries Vincenzo Mancuso, son of the late Girolamo Mancuso and Lucia Collura, on 22 February 1846.[3]
Vincenzo and Antonina have at least four children: Girolamo (c. 1851), Lucia (c. 1852), Giuseppe (1859), and Giovanni Salvatore (c. 1867).
Girolamo is named after his paternal grandfather.
Lucia is named after her paternal grandmother.
Giuseppe is born 14 February 1859 in his parents' home in strada Santo Rocco, Corleone. His father, Vincenzo, age 50 (b. 1809), villico, reports his birth. His mother, Antonina, is 36.[4]
Girolamo marries Angela Lucchese on 10 September 1871.[5]
Lucia marries Antonio Listi on 28 January 1872.[6]
Giuseppe marries Giuseppa Cascio on 5 June 1884.[7]
Giovanni Salvatore marries Biagia Lucchese, Angela’s sister, on 4 October 1887.
Giovanni is named among known members of the mafia in Corleone around 1900.
Giuseppe dies at the age of 45 on 28 April 1904. His wife Giuseppa survives him.
