Caroline Fay Picot was born on 20 March 1914 at Darlington, County Durham, England. She was the daughter of Captain Philip Simons Picot and Marjorie Putnam.
Sadly her father was killed in action in the 1st World War.
She married George Burnett Stevenson in 1936 at St. Paul's Church, Knightsbridge, London, England.
They had one son.
On 15 March 1946 Caroline Fay Stevenson, wife of Army Officer sailed from Liverpool to Bombay on Empress of Scotland, with Christopher Burnett Stevenson aged 6. Home address was recorded as Midhurst Road, Liphook.
On 12 June 1952 sailed from London to Wellington, New Zealand on the Rangitata with son Christopher. Her husband did not sail but listed as Lt. Col. G.B. Stevenson, NZ Army Liaison Staff.
Her husband died in 1986.
She died in 1992 at the age of about 77.[1] Her will was proved on 27 March 1992 at Brighton. Effects: £157,152
