Biography

William was born about 1856.

In the 1861 census William (age 5), Scholar, was the son of Elias Picot on Little Street, St Anns, Alderney, Channel Islands.^[1]

In 1877 William was a Methodist Preacher in Cap-Haïtien, Haiti. ^[2]

In 1877 William marries Alice Fouché.^[3][4]

In the 1880 census Wm (age 25), Missionary Farm, was the married head of household in Iberia, Louisiana, United States.^[5]

In about 1890 William marries Marie Augustine Francoise le Seneschal.^[6]

In the 1891 census William (age 36), School master, was the married head of household in Winona Cottage, Torteval, Jersey, Guernsey and Adjacent Islands, Channel Islands.^[7]

He was appointed her Majesty's Procureur (Procureur du Roi) of Alderney by Queen Victoria on 22 August 1899. ^[8]

In the 1911 census William (age 55), Procureur du roi, was the married head of household in Huret St, St Annes, Alderney, Channel Islands.^[6]

Died before 1921.^[9]
