Charlotte (Phillips) Hopkins was born in 1848 in England, United Kingdom, daughter of James John Phillips (1817 - 1893) and Eliza Jane (Belcher) Phillips (1821 - 1899).
Charlotte emigrated to Australia with her parents and sister Harriet in 1849.[1]
Her siblings were:
- Harriet (Phillips) Rippon (~1846 - 1900)
- Sarah Ann (Phillips) Hopkins (1854 - 1927)
Charlotte (~25) married James Hopkins (~24) (1849 - 1921) in 1873 in Goulburn, NSW Australia. [2]
Their children were:
- John Hopkins (~1876 - 1910)
- Sarah Hopkins (1878 - ~1950)
- Arthur James Hopkins (1880 - ~1960).
Charlotte and sister Sarah married brothers James and George.
Charlotte died on 23 Apr 1909 in Moss Vale, New South Wales, Australia aged ~60. She is buried in Tallong Cemetery, Tallong, New South Wales.[3]
