David Perrot was made a burgess of Laugharne on 3rd October 1768. But, also made a burgess on 3rd April 1769 (one of these must be an error in recording). He was disfranchised as a burgess on 26th July 1773. [1] Terry Perrott in 'Perrott History - From South Wales to New South Wales' (1985) tells us David became a storekeeper in Kidwelly and according to a family owned parchment £100 was paid for him to be appointed a Burgomaster of the town in 1777.
His marriage by license was witnessed by Henry Martin.
He later became an auctioneer in Swansea, confirmed by an apprentice indenture of 1799 held by a family member in Australia.
He had numerous freehold and leasehold properties in Swansea but we have no specific details of addresses,

Buried St Johns Swansea 24 May 1820
