Isabel was the daughter of Henry de Percy and idoine de Clifford.[1][2][3][4] She may have been born in Northumberland, where her father had his main lands. Her birth date is not known and has been guesstimated on the basis that her father was born in about 1300.[5][6]
Before January 1326/7 Isabel married William de Aton,[4] son of Gilbert de Aton of Yorkshire.[1][2][3] She and her husband were named in her father's 1349 Will.[7] They had the following children:
