Rosalia Pennino is a Corleone native resident, the daughter of Maestro Salvatore Pennino and Maria lo Presti.
Rosalia marries at least twice, first to Marco Streva, son of Paolo Streva and Ninfa Birtone, and widower of Rosa Provenzano, on 31 November 1794. Her parents have died by this time.[1]
Marco and Rosalia have at least one child, Maria Carmela (1796).
Maria Carmela is born in Corleone on 18 November 1796 and baptized the next day. Her godparents are Gaetano and Anna d'Anna, a married couple.[2]
Rosalia remarries to Pietro Marino, son of the late Francesco Marino and the living Maria Palazzo, on 5 December 1802.[3]
Rosalia and Pietro have at least two children, Calogero (c. 1805) and Maria (c. 1808).
Calogero is an agricoltore (a farm manager) married to Caterina Cusimano. his birth year is based on his reported age at death.
I estimate Maria is around 20 years old when she marries.
Carmela marries Stefano Cascio on 7 January 1816. Rosalia is still living.[4]
Maria marries Giuseppe Marino on 23 November 1828. No impediment to their marriage is found, so there is no dispensation required, despite their last names. Rosalia has died by this time.[5]
