Marriage
13 May 1654.
Saint Margaret, Westminster, London, London, England. [16][17]
"Daniel married Mary Pennington, a younger half-sister of Gulielma Maria Springett, first wife of [Penn]. On the marriage certificate he is said to have described himself as son of Henry and Ann Worley, late of Hunsden County, Hertford, England."[18]
Research Notes
"Daniel Wharley Citizen & Woollendraper of London & Mary Penington of the Parish of Amersham in the County of Burks, Spinster, in a publick Assembly of the People called Quakers ..."
Married 1686 November 4 in Chalfont St Giles, Buckinghamshire
[19]
Her birth date in 1657/58 is widely quoted on trees at ancestry and she is saide to be the daughter of Isaac and Mary. This was originally sourced here as being "Boyds" - presumably Boyds baptism index, but not found there. The actual citation given in the Born section here points to a Mary Pennington baptised 26 July 1655 in Bishopsgate, daughter of Robert and Mary.
Linking the Mary Pennington who married Daniel Wharley in Buckinghamshire in 1686 with a Mary Pennington baptised in London c1655 does not appear to be particulalrly robust. Her marriage details state that she was of Amersham, not of London.

Pennington-1453 and Pennington-1985 appear to represent the same person because: As stated by the reference source (Dict. of National Biography), Isaac Penington and Mary (Proude) Pennington had only one daughter, Mary.
These two persons are the same individual. Mary did marry Daniel Wharton as shown.
