Biography

Kenneth was born on 20 August 1950 n Woodstock, New Brusnwick, the fourth child and second son of William Locklin Patterson (1915-1996) and Isabella Veronica (McVeigh) Patterson (1921-1984).

Ken's parents moved him and his siblings to Maple Grove near Bowmanville , Ontario when he was 6 years old. His father got a job working at the General Motors plant in nearby Oshawa and the family moved there in 1960.

They had a house at 14 Frank Street in Cedardale, an area in south Oshawa and Ken and his siblings attended Holy Cross Catholic School. In 1965, he entered high school at the newly built Oshawa Catholic High School. It was here that he met his future. wife.

After gradtuation, Ken pursued a career in plumbing and attended George Brown College. In 1971, he married in Oshawa and had three children.

In 1975, the couple moved with their two young children to Saint John, New Brunswick. A few years later, they moved to a trailer park in Woodstock, New Brunswick while saving to build a house of their own. Ken had his own plumbing business, Ken Patterson Plumbing and Heating

Ken was a journeyman plumber working out of U.A. Local 463 in Bowmanville.

He passed away in 2010. [1] [2]
