Biography
Augustin Parenteau was born in Saint-François, Trois-Rivières, Canada, New France on 18 September 1719, son of Pierre Parenteau and Marguerite St. Laurent. He was baptized there on September 20, 1719. [1]
He married Marguerite Guillaume dit Fontaine on July 30, 1742 at St-Antoine-de-la-Rivière-du-Loup. [2] His first wife passed away in January 1749.
He remarried to Marie Angélique Bastien dit Vanasse on 15 February 1751 at Saint-Joseph-de-Maskinongé. [3]
