Biography

Geneviève Josephe Parenteau was born on 26 Sept 1715 in St-François-du-Lac, baptized there on 22 Oct 1715[1]

Geneviève married Pierre Thesiers (Tessier), widower of Charlotte Forcier, on 30 Jun 1745 in yamaska[2]

There were 8 known children from this marriage, 1 known to die young and 1 to marry.[3] (she got listed incorrectly as Marguerite Parenteau on that marriage record, both she and her husband were already deceased)

Geneviève died on 10 Dec 1760, funeral the next day in Yamaska, being listed as 48 year old widow of Pierre Texier[4]

Parenteau-438 and Parenteau-107 appear to represent the same person because: Same spouse with same marriage dates (suggestion report noted possible duplicates). Also same birth and death dates. Full name variations but last name and given name of Genevieve is the same.
