Thomas, son of George Palmer and Elizabeth (Coates) Palmer Fitzwater, was born on 1 September 1671 in Yewell [actually, Ewell], England. The source specifically states that Thomas and William were twins when they were born (Kingston MM.^[1]

Family

Thomas' parents were George and Elizabeth Palmer.^[2] "George Palmer died on shipboard leaving a will which gave 1000 acres to Elizabeth, his wife and 800 acres to each of five children." **
