Biography

Zoe was born in 1908. She is the daughter of Hugh Page and Mary Adele Heley. ^[1] She married John Crayzer Wedd in 1928 ^[2] (Her brother Oswald had married John's sister Eileen in 1921)

WEDDING. A pretty wedding was solemnised at St. James' Church, Otane, recently, when Zoe, youngest daughter of Mrs. arid the late Mr. Hugh Pace, of Takaka, Nelson, was married to John Cayzer, second son of Mr. and Mrs. Charles Wedd, of Otane. The Rev. Pigot, of Waipawa, officiated. The bride, who was given away by her brother, Mr. Oswald Page, wore a georgette frock with an accordeon-pleated skirt. Her veil of Limerick lace was worn coif fashion and was fastened with a spray of orange blossom. She carried a bouquet of white roses with touches of pink. The bridesmaid, Miss Susie Wedd, wore a frock of embroidered delphinium blue crepe de chine with a crinoline hat to tone. She carried a blue and white bouquet. Mr. Roy Gallien, of Hastings, acted as best man. ^[3]
