Biography
Joseph Padgett/Padget/Paget was born in Elland Yorkshire June 1623. His parents were George/Georgy Padget and Grace Harrison. There is incorrect info on Ancestry about George's wife being Elizabeth Godson. That may have occurred later in George's life but Joseph's mother was Grace Harrison. Joseph married Esther/Hester Moulson in Dewsbury Yorkshire in Nov 1652. They had at least 2 children including Susan/Susanna Padget b 1654 at Thorncliffe. He passed away in 1680.
