Later Life and Death
When Bartley's father, Loammi Pack, passed away in 1858, Bartley was 36 years old. Bartley inherited from him father one entry of ninety acres lying on Brush Creek in Monroe County and State of Virginia joining the land of Anderson Pack and the land that Bartley Pack sold to Samuel C Pack.[1] Bartley also inherited all of Loammi's interest in the six hundred acre survey of (missing word) in Mercer County, Virginia near Hector's Knob.[1],[8] Bartley was also to be given $200 by his brothers Samuel and John as part of the considerations for them to receive their bequests.[1]
