Later Life and Death

When Bartley's father, Loammi Pack, passed away in 1858, Bartley was 36 years old. Bartley inherited from him father one entry of ninety acres lying on Brush Creek in Monroe County and State of Virginia joining the land of Anderson Pack and the land that Bartley Pack sold to Samuel C Pack.[1] Bartley also inherited all of Loammi's interest in the six hundred acre survey of (missing word) in Mercer County, Virginia near Hector's Knob.[1],[8] Bartley was also to be given $200 by his brothers Samuel and John as part of the considerations for them to receive their bequests.[1]

Hester passed away in 1883 and Bartley remarried, to Martha.[9] The source Ancestral families of Robert Lee Pack, Family History Library, Salt Lake City suggests that in 1883 Martha Beckett and Bartley Pack married when Bartley was 61 years old.

Bartley passed away on December 12, 1896.[3] He is buried in Grandview Cemetery, Grandview, Raleigh County, West Virginia, USA.[3]
