Ann Jones, Llanon, Carmarthenshire, Wales
Jane Hutchings(unknown maiden), wife of Clement Hutchings of Botwood or Botwoodville, NL. Born mid-late 1800's. She had a child in 1877 and another in 1896...probably some in between, unbeknownst to me. For that reason, I would say her birth was no later than 1862, but probably late 1850's.
It is fun to sleuth around, but also takes a ton of brain power and organizing.
My favourite given name ? Three generations of women with the first name *Zenobia*, which was apparently a popular name in and around Cornwall, England .
Born and raised in Newfoundland, Canada.
In 2008, moved to Nova Scotia, Canada where I currently reside.
Family names include Marsh, Hutchings, Peckham, Mercer, Osmond, Bennett, Wilson Jones, Inkman, Winsor(no D!!), Langmead, with new names gathered regularly.
I am an educator, a theatre regular, a photographer, and road trip enthusiast. It is in my blood to promote inclusion, love, humour, compassion, and really excellent home-cooked meals.
If you knew my family, you'd know I come by it honestly.

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!
Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.
Sources are very important here on Wikitree, especially on Pre-1700 profiles. It is how we show where we got the info and help others find it too. Find out more about sources here and more detailed info here.
Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.
Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. If you have any questions, be sure to use the "reply link" for this comment so that I will be notified. You can also click my name to send a private message, or post a comment on my profile page.

This is a courtesy e-mail to see how things are going. Are you enjoying WikiTree so far? Have the tips in the New Member How-Tos been helpful? You're creating some great profiles; you might find the formatting ideas in the Editing Tips FAQ helpful.
Please do let me know if you have any questions about how WikiTree works, no matter how small. My rule of thumb when I started was to search for an answer for five minutes, then reach out to my Greeters, and then resume searching. I might have found the answer before they got back with me but they sometimes offered a different way of doing the same thing which was easier.
You can reach me by using the reply link for this comment or send a private message from my profile by clicking my name. See you in the branches,

P.S. Did you discover that the tags on your profile are clickable links to a page of other people who have that tag? They also control the information which is included in the activity reports which you receive from WikiTree. You can add more, up to 20 total, or delete some if you are receiving irrelevant information.
Start with our New Member How-To pages. They will save you time, energy and frustration as you add your family profiles. Check out Find -> Projects to learn of group projects like England. Also try clicking your surname tags to find other members following those names.
We are so happy to have you here in the WikiTree community. Please let me know if you have any questions. I'm always happy to help!
