Biography
Isabelle Olivier is a part of US Black heritage.
Isabelle Adelaide "Elizabeth" Olivier, daughter of French-Candadian Charles Olivier and Adelaide Dubreuil a free woman of color, was born circa 1805 at St. Martin Parish, Louisiana.[1]
She married Pierre Eugene Boutte, son of Pierre Boutte and Hiacinthe LaPorte, on 16 and 23 Dec. 1822 their marriage was recorded at Franklin, St. Mary Parish and at St. Martin of Tours, St. Martinville, St. Martin Parish, Louisiana. [1]
She and Pierre appeared on the census of 22 Dec. 1850 at St. Mary Parish, Louisiana.[2]
Isabella died on 17 Oct. 1857 at Louisiana, her death was recorded at St. Peter Catholic Church, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana.[1]
