Biography
Dubreul Oliver is a part of US Black heritage.
Dubreul Olivier, also known as Louis Dubreuil, son of Canadian-born Charles Olivier de Vézin and Adelaide Dubreuil, a free woman of color, was born about 1812 in Louisiana.[1]
He married Marie Aime Gradenigo, widow of Edmond Donato, and daughter of Adelaide Lemelle, on 24 and 27 Feb. 1843, their marriage was recorded St. Peter Catholic Church, New Iberia, Ibera Parish, Louisiana.[1]
He died on 13 Oct. 1862 in Iberia Parish[1] and was buried at Saint Peters Cemetery, New Iberia, Iberia Parish, Louisiana. His memorial has some biographical material and a link to that of Aimee.[2]
