Biography

Daughter of Henrich Nolte and Meta (Jantzen) Nolte, Henrietta Rebecca was born in Dorchester, South Carolina in 1889. [1] In 1921, at the age of 21, she was living at home in Dorchester and working as a pianist in a music store there. She married Charles Dunning Sr. in Charleston on October 1, 1912. She raised her family in Summerville, South Carolina. [2][3] She died on December 5, 1975[4] and is buried at Magnolia Cemetery in Charleston.[5]

One source claims she was born in Beverstedt, Cuxhaven, Niedersachsen, Germany .

There are many source records on Ancestry but, sadly, only the immigration record was readily available on FamilySearch. Records on Ancestry for her father, as well.
