Biography

Louisa Cecilia Nold was born on May 28, 1865 in Conrad, Calhoun, Illinois, United States, daughter of Melchior Nold (1825–1906) and Jane Shaw (1832–1895).

In 1880, Louisa (15)'s occupation was 'at home'. She was living in household of Melchior Nolde (57) in Point Precinct, Calhoun with her parents, Melchior Nolde (57) and Jany Nolde (50); and her siblings, Gorg Nolde (26), Joseph Nolde (21), Allen Nolde (20), Laura Nolde (13), and William Nolde (11). ^[1]

In 1900, Louisa (35) was living in household of Godfraud Haubs (35) in Batchtown, Calhoun with her husband, Godfraud (35); and their son, Bertie (2). ^[2]

In 1910, Louisa (45) was living in household of Gottfried Haubs (44) in Richwood Precinct, Calhoun with her husband, Gottfried (44); and their son, Egbert (12). ^[3]

In 1920, Louisa (55) was living in household of Godfrey Haubs (54) in Richwood Precinct, Calhoun with Godfrey Haubs (undefined), and Louisa C Haubs (undefined). ^[4]

In 1930, Louisa (65) was living in Batchtown, Calhoun with Louise C Haubs (undefined). ^[5]

Louisa died on January 19, 1936 in Batchtown, Calhoun, aged 70. She was buried in Saint Joseph's Cemetery, Meppen, Calhoun County, Illinois.^[6]
