Biography

Mary was born in 1799 in Pembroke, Pembrokeshire, Wales, and married William Sansom on 23 Nov 1820 in Troedyraur, Cardiganshire, Wales. She died on 14 Jul 1847 in Cardigan, York County, New Brunswick at age 48, and was buried in Cardigan, York County, New Brunswick.

Arrival On 09 April 1822, Mary with her husband William Sanson, and their newborn son James set sail to Canada on board the "Active". They arrived at Saint John NB on 01 June, and made their way to the Welsh community of Cardigan, New Brunswick.
