Pim Nevins, a Quaker, was born in Kilglass, County Kildare, Ireland on 16 April 1757, a son of Thomas and Rachel Nevins.[1] He became a merchant in Leeds.[2] He married Elizabeth Jowitt on 6 January 1780.[3] He died in Yorkshire on 12 November 1834, aged 78.[4]
